๐จ the Slack bot your team literally deserves ๐จ
A relentless birthday machine for Slack. It posts unhinged celebrations and quietly tips off the team beforehand, so nobody's day slips past again. ๐
Free forever ยท installs in about 30 seconds
it is your birthday APP 9:00 AM
๐ฅณ happy birthday @Priya!!! ๐ you're not getting older, you're getting more ICONIC ๐ it's giving main character energy โจ๐ go off bestie ๐ซถ
Every post is randomly assembled from certified-cheugy templates and a scientifically lame GIF. The cringe is the product. It cannot be disabled.
One click, one consent screen. The bot DMs you the moment it lands.
One click in the app's Home tab. Timezone and post hour live there too, if 9:00 AM isn't your vibe.
Everyone adds their own birthday (/birthday me 14 March),
and the bot politely asks anyone who hasn't. You are free.
A few days before every birthday, the bot privately DMs the rest of the team, and again on the morning itself. The birthday person never sees a thing.
Cards get signed. Someone books the good meeting room. On the day, everyone acts like they remembered all along.
Too much? Switch the heads-up to a channel post, or turn it off.
it is your birthday APP 9:00 AM
๐ Heads up: it's Priya (@Priya)'s birthday in 3 days (Friday 14 March)!
Posts at your chosen hour and @mentions the birthday legend. Multiple birthdays get bundled into one glorious extravaganza. One post per day, max.
Each workspace sets its own timezone and post hour. 9:00 AM in Tokyo is 9:00 AM in Tokyo. DST handled, obviously.
People add their own with /birthday me, and the bot politely asks
anyone who hasn't. You were never meant to be a birthday spreadsheet admin.
Add a birth year and the post celebrates the number. Leave it out and no arithmetic is performed on anyone. Your age, your business.
Names, dates, and an encrypted bot token. That's the whole database. Uninstall and it's deleted the same day. Privacy policy.
No trial and no card. Birthdays are free and so is this.
Yes. It costs almost nothing to run and we refuse to put a paywall between you and cake.
Per workspace: the names and birthdays you add, optional Slack user IDs (for the @mention), your settings, and one encrypted bot token. Nothing is sold, shared, or used for anything except celebrating you. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. Full details in the privacy policy.
One celebration post per day, maximum. If three people share a birthday, they share one (extra glorious) post. The advance heads-up goes out as private DMs by default, so the channel stays clean.
Leaplings are celebrated on February 28th in non-leap years. We would never make you wait four years for a cake. That's the law (our law).
No. Every message is lovingly assembled from certified-cheugy templates and a lame GIF, which is exactly why people react with ๐ . You can turn off the advance DMs, though.
The ask-DM has a "Rather not say" button, and the bot never asks twice
either way. Anyone can take themselves off the list at any time with
/birthday remove and their own name.
Yes. Invite the bot to the private channel first, then pick it with
/birthday config channel.
